We’re delighted to announce that we are one of the three lucky winners of MarketFinance’s Business Booster Fund! Over 500 organisations applied and only five were shortlisted for the final online vote. Thank you to everyone who voted and congratulations to the two other worthy winners – The Bshirt and BlakBear.
The Booster Fund is an excellent initiative and has come at the perfect time for us. We’re in the midst of developing a new strategy ready to launch in the new school year. We will invest this grant into rolling out the new strategy to enable us to reach more young people over the next 12 months.
This year, our work has taken on a new urgency. Events in the news have dramatically affected young people. Misinformation and polarisation have been widespread. And young people’s education has been severely disrupted, limiting their opportunities to develop the knowledge and skills to understand our changing world. It’s more important than ever to equip young people with the news literacy they need.
We are wholeheartedly committed to scaling up our impact, and MarketFinance’s Business Booster fund will support to help us achieve this.
